The "R4" Card gives users the ability to install there games, music, videos, and files and run them on any of the Nintendo DS handheld counsel, it is compatible with:
Nintendo 3DS, DSi V1.4.5, DSiLL, DSiXL, DS and DS lite console.
If you have purchased the R4i Gold card from us, its already set-up but just in case you need help...here are some guidelines.
How to setup R4i Gold 3DS card? - R4i Gold Kernel installation
To make R4i Gold 3DS card work, we need to install the software and game to the MicroSD card. The software for R4i Gold 3DS is Wood R4i Kernel, It can be download from r4ids.cn. The games can be download from r4-roms.com. To finish installation, we need 3 accessories: R4i Gold 3DS flashcard + MicroSD card + USB Adapter which should of came with the product.
1. Download R4i Gold kernel (latest version is Wood R4i V1.45) to computer, it is a zipped patch.
2. Unzip the patch, you will get 3 files: "_rpg", "_DS_MENU" and "WOODR4.NDS".
3. Copy the 3 files to the root directory of MicroSD card, throug the USB adapter.
4. Download some Nintendo DS games to computer, it is a zipped patch.
5. Unzip the game patch, you can get a ".NDS" game file.
6. Copy the game file to the MicroSD card.
Installation finished, put R4i Gold 3DS card with MicroSD card to Nintendo console, start to play game.

The all new and all powerful Acekard 2i offers support for NDS, NDS Lite, and the new DSi. Acekard 2 has many great features and is a great buy. The interface is by far the best of any cart available.
Acekard 2i use the technology of directly writting save file to MicsoSD card. No need to manually select save size or backup save when turn on DS. No battery needed. Acekard 2i can use save files from other flash carts and you do not need convert. All you need to do is make sure the save file has the same prefix name and put it at the same directory as the home brew. Then you can just run the home brew to use the new save file.

The software for Acekard 2i is AKAIO Kernel, It can be download from acekard.com The games can be download from r4-roms.com. To finish installation, we need 3 accessories: Acekard 2i flashcard + MicroSD card + USB Adapter which should of came with the product.
1. Download Acekard kernel (latest version is AKAIO 1.9.0) to computer, it is a zipped patch.
2. Unzip the patch, you will get the latest files.
3. Copy the files to the root directory of MicroSD card, throug the USB adapter.
4. Download some Nintendo DS games to computer, it is a zipped patch.
5. Unzip the game patch, you can get a ".NDS" game file.
6. Copy the game file to the MicroSD card.
Installation finished, put Acekard with MicroSD card to Nintendo console, start to play game
!!!! F.A.Q.!!!!!!
- Does it come with Games Already? yes it comes with a few games but you can request what games you want and I will install then on to the card, keep in mind that you have to have those games on your collection (backups) to avoid any legal issues with Nintendo.
- It gives me an Error, please help? Be sure your card has the latest kernel or patch for your Nintendo DS. If you still keep getting Errors, Email us and we will be glad to help.
- Can I put another type of Mini SD card? Not all cards are supportive so be sure you use the most common brand.
- How much space can this thing support?: Well depending on the type of Card you got, you can support up to 16GB "thats a lot of space".
- What if my DS isn't compatible with the Card? You have to be sure you get the right now, if you need help deciding which one works best for you, give us an Email with your Nintendo DS product number and if possible the serial number (we can do the information hunting for you) :)
